In the surrounding valleys to the mill there are plenty of activities including canoeing, horse ridding, cycling, walking fishing and golf. There are the Normandy beaches on the north coast a 1 - 2 hours drive away for those interested in European history, which are well worth a visit. There is the medieval town of Bayeaux with its famous tapestry and the fortified town of St Malo for those wishing to explore. For families with small children there is the Enchanted Village at Bellefontaine 2 miles from the Mill. which is one of Frances popular attractions.
