The beautiful village of Vouvant in the Southern Vendee is on the edge of the forest of Mervent and is fully deserving of the titles ‘Petite cite de caractere’ and one of ‘Les plus beaux villages de France.’ This area has a micro-climate and is credited with being second only to the Cotes d’Azur in hours of sunshine per year.
